Eric,
I am curious if there would be any extra benefit from performing this with 2 separate ropes (1 on each arm of a functional trainer for those who have access to that type of cable machine), so that the line of pull would be somewhat more linear (as opposed to each end of the roper being pulled apart.
Or would the single rope actually be more effective? I am asking this question since it reminded me of an article Nick Tumminello wrote sometime back where he discussed using 1 rope versus two on certain movements.
